Start with the selection boundary

Slag conditioner is a functional family, not a fixed formula. It is not automatically a ladle-slag deoxidizer, synthetic refining slag, lime or casting flux.

PRODUCT MANUFACTURING

Product manufacturing process

This functional powder or granule family has no single production route representing every supplier. A general commercial workflow may include feed-identity and safety-document review, drying and classification, metered blending to a verified formula and—where applicable to the actual product—granulation, briquetting, premelting or another treatment, followed by screening, representative sampling, lot testing and moisture-protected packing. This general workflow is not presented as Jinsheng-owned production.

SPECIFICATIONS & PACKAGING

Grades, specifications, indicators and packaging

Slag conditioner for steelmaking is only a functional family. The specification must declare whether it targets fluidity, oxidation state, foamy slag, lining protection or another objective, and fix principal minerals/oxides, effective constituents, limiting residuals, moisture, sizing, melting behaviour, form, pack and lot testing. Formulations for different objectives cannot share one SKU or guarantee set.

APPLICATION METHOD

Use scenarios, method, effect and risk validation

First confirm furnace, addition point, initial slag and target function, then add in batches from slag mass, lot chemistry and site-response trials. A matched formula can help stabilize fluidity, oxidation state or foaming; the wrong formula or excess can alter basicity, desulfurization, metal recovery and lining wear. Verify with slag/steel samples, furnace response and lining records; it is not automatically slag deoxidizer, synthetic refining slag or lime.
