SELECTION BOUNDARY

Start with the selection boundary

Aluminium deoxidizer acts directly on steel and is not ladle-slag deoxidizer, aluminium cored wire or an Al–Si master alloy for aluminium casting; forms are not unconditionally interchangeable.

PRODUCT MANUFACTURING

Product manufacturing process

Aluminium deoxidizer for steelmaking may be made from verified metallic aluminium feed through actual routes such as remelting, cleaning, casting, cutting, granulation, shot making or briquetting into different supply forms. The supplier must declare feed identity, any binder/additive, contamination control and actual route; this general description does not represent Jinsheng-owned production.

SPECIFICATIONS & PACKAGING

Grades, specifications, indicators and packaging

An aluminium-deoxidizer specification should identify the metallic aluminium feed, Al and limiting Fe/Si/Cu residuals, surface cleanliness, oil/moisture/foreign-matter control, and separately define unit mass/sizing, binder or additive, pack, sampling and COA for ingot, granule, shot, cut-piece or briquette forms. GB/T 1196—2023 is only a feed-product identity reference and does not replace a formal steelmaking TDS.

APPLICATION METHOD

Use scenarios, method, effect and risk validation

Use for steel deoxidation/Al trimming in BOF/EAF tapping, LF or post-RH ladles. Calculate deoxidation Al demand and target net Al increase separately, then select form and sequence from endpoint O, lot Al, slag, inclusion route and site recovery. A matched practice can lower dissolved oxygen and establish target Al; moisture, oil, rapid or excess addition can splash, oxidize, increase inclusions, clog nozzles or exceed Al. Verify steel samples, oxygen and inclusions; it is not ladle-slag deoxidizer.
