SELECTION BOUNDARY
Assess carbon grade, Cr content, addition point and decarburisation capability together. High-carbon ferrochrome cannot unconditionally replace low-carbon material without downstream decarburisation.
PRODUCT MANUFACTURING
High-carbon/charge ferrochrome is commonly smelted from chromite and carbonaceous reductants in a high-temperature electric furnace; low-carbon grades may use downstream refining or silicothermic routes.
The public external reference helps explain a similar product or typical process; it is not evidence of a Jinsheng-owned line, stock or customer site.
